I had a dream that the department store, Target, built a house and filled it entirely with their products. That dream was set in my former neighborhood in Dallas. Some of the details (that I won't spoil for you) were also in that dream. I woke up and knew that I had to write it all down.

I took it to my friend and mentor to read it, and she encouraged me to publish it even though it was a 'short story' and not a full novel. I did in August of 2024, and other stories have followed. I still teach computer classes and work with senior citizens, helping them with technology. But I am enjoying writing, and based upon the feedback, think I could be successful at it.
